LCC track squads compete in their final L&C Conference meet
PONCA - The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge track teams completed a busy week with the Lewis & Clark Conference Meet held here April 27. Earlier in the week the teams were in Creighton for an invitational which saw the Lady Bears bring home the runner-up hardware.

Laurel High School produces another crop of graduates in May 1943
The month of May brought a flurry of activities for members of the Senior class of 1943. The first activity was “skip day.” Thirty-five of the 38 seniors were driven to Sioux City where they spent the morning visiting city hall, the fire department, and the bomber plant. After lunch they spent the afternoon rollerskating on the floor of the Rigadon ballroom. In the evening they attended a movie.

There were Hero Photos using the green screen, a who would win Superhero style station, create your own Superhero, crack the code using black lights, a Superhero comic strip station and Superhero snacks. Students also had the opportunity to purchase books from the book fair, which was organized by the PTO.
