LAUREL — The Tuesday Club is made up of women from the Laurel area. In years past, the art show has been held in the city auditorium, where it had all music, art, speech, and sewing, and the afternoon was filled with musical entertainment.

On Feb. 15, the Tuesday Club hosted another art show. It included a greeting from mayor, Gene Jussel, three style shows: designs from the home, Touch of Class fashions, and 50’s dress; piano solos by Sharon Van Cleave and Anita Gade, a bake sale, announcement of the winners of the show, and to finalize there was a silver tea.

A music contest will be held next weekend with individuals competing for a scholarship.
