Charles A. Steiner

GRETNA— Charles A. Steiner, 90, died peacefully Oct. 23, 2021, with his family at his side in his home in Gretna.

Visitation was Oct. 27 at Gretna United Methodist Church.

Services were Oct. 28 also at Gretna United Methodist Church.

Interment was at Omaha National Cemetery.

Arrangements were under the direction of Roeder Mortuary, Inc., Gretna Chapel.

Charlie was born May 21, 1931, in Pawnee City and proudly served in the Air Force during the Korean conflict. He was a proud member of the Gretna American Legion, and Gretna United Methodist Church.

Charles is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 63 years, Dana; sons, Milt (Melissa) and Dan (Brenda); grandchildren, Alexa (Kyle) Dorn (Steiner), Marc, Casey, Matthew, Ethan (Shauna) Steiner; and greatgrandsons, Gibson and Quinton Dorn; brother-in-law, Richard Schmidt; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Art and Rose Steiner; four sisters- and four brothers-in-law.
