HARTINGTON — Fines totaling $240 were paid in county court this past week by eight people. They all pleaded guilty before Judge E. W. Hesse to the charges against them.

HARTINGTON — Cpl. Henry Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Johnson, Obert, has received his discharge from the service. He arrived home Sunday from Beale Air Force Base in California.

COLERIDGE — In a transaction which was effective March 1, the Northeast Nebraska Telephone Company assumed the operation of the Coleridge Telephone Co. Walter Riese, owner of the Coleridge system, said he expects that he will be employed by the NNTC.
