Wynot girls split games at LCC Triangular

LAUREL — The Wynot Lady Blue Devils split a pair of games at last week’s LCC Triangular.

The Lady Devils fell in two straight sets to Wakefield, but earned a three-set win over host Laurel-Concord-Coleridge.

Karley Heimes dominated the action against the Lady Bears, slamming down 16 kills and going up strong for three blocks.

Kinsley Heimes led the Wynot defense in the two-set loss to Wakefield. She went down for a team-high 13 digs in the match.

The Lady Devils are in action again Thursday when they host Homer. The Big Blue hits the road Saturday for a tournament at Clarkson-Leigh.
