Mary Jean Pinkelman

PLYMOUTH, Minn. — Mary Jean Pinkelman, 76, Plymouth, Minn., died peacefully surrounded by family Jan. 20, 2022.

Memorial Mass will be 11 a.m., Jan. 28, with visitation at 10 a.m., at the Church of St. Bartholomew.

Burial will be held later this spring in Nebraska.

Mary Jean was born Dec. 9, 1945, in Hartington, and graduated from Cedar Catholic High School in 1963. She raised her family in Minnesota, where she also touched the lives of many young children, providing home daycare for over 30 years.

She is preceded in death by parents, Martin and Cecelia Eickhoff and brother, James Eickhoff.

She is survived by husband, Rodney; children, Teresa (Scott) Kohl, Wichita, Kan.; Suzanne Pinkelman, Twin Cities, Minn.; Charleen (Matt) Scherer, Chicago, Ill.; Christopher (Mia) Pinkelman, Twin Cities, Minn.; Nicholas Pinkelman, Twin Cities, Minn.; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Rollie Eickhoff, Norman Eickhoff, Sidney Eickhoff, Mark Eickhoff, Judy Pinkelman, Bill Eickhoff, David Eickhoff and Larry Eickhoff; and other relatives and friends.
