Lady Hawks’ coach looks back on 2023-24 season

RANDOLPH –The 2023-2024 Hawks started basketball practice Nov. 13. Twenty one girls from Osmond and Randolph made up the team this year led by five seniors: Ella Scott, Caydence Krienert, Juliana Kumm, Anabelle Vinson, and Tessa Gardner. The Hawks finished with a 7-16 record this year. The Hawks finished as the Randolph Holiday Tournament Runner-up, third in the Wausa Post Holiday Tournament, and fifth in the Clark division of the Lewis and Clark Conference Tournament.

Throughout the season Osmond-Randolph would face six teams that would end up playing for a district championship, four of those six teams: St. Mary’s, Wynot, Niobrara/Verdigre, and Plainview would punch their ticket to the state tournament.

“The five seniors have sacrificed a lot over the last two years,” said Coach Bradley Wright. “Their leadership, integrity, and work ethic will be missed going forward; thank you Ella, Caydence, Juliana, Anabelle, and Tessa.”
