Haskell to hold a virtual tour
CONCORD — The Haskell Agricultural Lab typically holds a Family Field Day event late in the summer, but that event has gone virtual this year.
The health and safety of attendees and employees forced a change, though.
Instead of the usual tour of the research plots, ag demonstrations, vendors, and lectures, area residents will get a virtual tour and educational videos.
Officials said the virtual tour will be availabe beginning on Aug. 5 — the date the actual tour had been planned to take place.
The virtual tour will examine the research plots at the lab and many other aspects of the facility.
