RANDOLPH – Splashes of color, patterns of design and stories of creativity will fill the United Methodist Church of Randolph when Diane Gubbels, Coleridge, shares her “Stories of Inspiration” quilt program.

The program is set for 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 18.

As a talented designer and appliqué artist, Gubbels allows her creative spirit to speak through her quilts, using fabric and dies.

Her beautiful quilts unfold and so do the stories that lead to her creations.

Gubbels has been sewing as long as she can remember and said it is one of her greatest joys to share the work of her hands.

Inspired by her mother, she has enjoyed a love of fabric and design since she was a young girl. Her quilts are inspired by many life experiences.

“Stories of Inspiration” is sponsored by the Randolph Woman’s Club with a freewill offering accepted at the door.
