CONCORD — Concord AWANA Clubs will kick off the 2024-25 year with their annual Summer Fun Night, Sunday, Aug. 25, 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Concord Village Park. Even though the weather was cool Sunday night, it didn’t stop areapetownersfrombringingtheirdogstotheLaurelSwimming Pool for the last hour of the pool being open for the season. A good turnout of all shapesandsizesofdogsenjoyedrunninginthewaterandplaying catch with their owners. Organizers called the event a success.
