Lois Adams
Lois Adams

Lois was the proud mother of three daughters, Brenda, Lynnda and Kimberly. Her girls were always at the center of her life. She devoted herself to raising them and taught them the importance of hard work, determination, independence and being strong women. Her love and determination helped her overcome many hardships and build a brighter future for her family.
While raising her daughters, Lois continued her education through the local community college, taking classes in business law, real estate, communications, computer science and accounting I & II. She went on to work for more than 25 years at Western Contracting, and later, for Woodbury County.
The family farm, which she purchased in 1995, always held a special place in Lois’s heart. During her retirement years, she enjoyed planting trees and flowers and caring for the land. Over the years, the farm was home to horses, dogs, cats, chickens and geese. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting and gardening.
Above all, Lois loved her family. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her tremendous joy, and she treasured the holidays, birthdays and special occasions that brought everyone together.
Lois will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Brenda (Steve) Stewart, and their children, Brooke (Mitch) Lewon and Megan (Mark) Wortmann; Lynnda (Steve) Kramper, and their children, Calvin Kramper, Corey Krampe, and Sierra (Corey) Parry; and Kimberly (Wilson Johnson), and her children, Wesley (Mariah) Johnson and Michael Johnson. She also leaves behind 16 great-grandchildren: Heidi, Lane, Halley, Jackson, Shawn, Tyler, Kamdyn, Layton, Hudson, Alaina, Oliver, Everlee, Sawyer, Sloan, Violet and Rex; her siblings Roger Adams, Margie Stark and Barbara Strivens; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ione Adams; and her siblings, Beverly, Joyce, Bernice, Leona, Richard, Rayme and Linda.
