Beverly Hansen

OMAHA — Beverly Carol (Schulz) Hansen, Omaha, formerly of Coleridge, died peacefully Sept. 4, 2026, at the Hillcrest Care & Rehab Center, Papillion, at the age of 79. Funeral services will be Sept. 9, at 11 a.m., at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Coleridge, with Deacon Brandi Painter officiating. Burial will be at Lawn Ridge Cemetery, rural Coleridge. Visitation will be Wednesday, at church, from 9:30-11 a.m. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home, Coleridge. Beverly was born Feb. 26, 1947, in Oakland, to Orpha and Harvey Schulz, who preceded her in death. Beverly lived in Coleridge for many years, before eventually moving to Omaha, where she made her home. Beverly had a love for life that was reflected in the simple things she enjoyed most. She was an avid Nebraska Cornhuskers fan and could always be counted on to cheer for the Huskers. She especially loved spending time with her family, making memories together, and playing games.

Beverly leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a family who will forever carry her love in their hearts. Though she will be greatly missed, her legacy lives on through the family she loved so dearly and the many lives she touched.

She was deeply loved, will be forever missed, and will never be forgotten. Beverly was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, who cherished her family above all else.

She is survived by her husband, Earl; her sons, Shannon (Dawn) and Brandon Hansen; her brother, Calvin (Valerie); her beloved grandchildren, Kaycian and Brayden; and many nieces and nephews, who will cherish the memories they shared with her.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Beverly’s memory to Orphan Grain Train, Norfolk, Nebraska or Immanuel Lutheran, Coleridge, organizations that were meaningful to her.
