Beverly Jean was born Sept. 30 1937, in Omaha, to Henry H., and Hazel (Rurup) Stolley. Bev grew up in Omaha and worked at her parent’s café, the Dutch Mill, from 1955-1963. She graduated from Westside High School and then moved to Crofton, in 1963 and worked at Aten Resort, which was owned by her mother and husband. Bev married Charles Ralph Reifert Dec.29, 1965, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Hartington. Together, Bev and Charlie owned and operated the Reifert Furniture Store. Charlie died May 11, 1999, at the age of 72 years. Bev continued to operate and work at the furniture store until October 2001, when she sold the store to Faye Burbach.
Bev belonged to Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and having her night out f or woman’s bowling league. Bev also served on the City Council for eight years.
Bev is survived by her son, Bill Reifert, Phoenix, Ariz.; daughter, Tricia (Tim) Freccia, Sao Barnabe, Portugal; granddaughters, Kelsey and Amanda Reifert.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Hazel Stolley; husband, Charles Reifert; and a sister, Joan.
