He graduated, in 1951, from Coleridge High School and joined the army, serving from 1954-1956 in Germany.

Graveside services and burial were held at the Brighton Cemetery on Monday, July 20 at with Pastor Jeff Brann officiating under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home.
