Donna Gubbels RANDOLPH — Funeral service for Donna M. Gubbels, 92, Randolph, was June 1 at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, Randolph.

Father Kevin Vogel officiated the service.

Interment was at the St. Frances Catholic Cemetery, Randolph.

Casket bearers were Jeremy Reineke, Andrew Myer, Philip Myer, Brandon Rezac, Derrick Rezac, Justin Gubbels, Ashton Lackas, Kealon Kahre and Marcus Gubbels.

Honorary casket bearers were all of Donna’s granddaughters.

Visitation and a vigil service were Sunday, also at the church.

Donna died May 27, 2026, at the Community Pride Care Center, Battle Creek.

Stonacek Funeral Chapel was in charge of the arrangements. Donna was born March 31, 1934, to Arthur and Clara (Wiedeman) Neitzke in Stanton County. She attended and graduated from Hoskins High School. After high school, she married Don Gubbels June 3, 1952, in Stanton. After they were married, they farmed north of Randolph for 45 years before moving into town.

Donna enjoyed quilting, attending to her flowers, playing cards, embroidering, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Ann (Wes) Myer, Crofton; Connie (Mike) Reigle, Norfolk; Barb (Norm) Zobel, Randolph; Russ (Marla) Gubbels, Randolph; Mark (Marcia) Gubbels, Randolph; Chuck (Beth) Gubbels, Norfolk; Sharon Rudnick, Plainview; 22 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Don Gubbels, in 2002; parents, Arthur and Clara Neitzke; great-grandson, Kellyn Rozeboom; one brother, Leon Neitzke; and two sisters, LaVerne Bierschenk and Shirley Nielsen.
