NORFOLK — Funeral service Elsie A. Wolfe, 98, Norfolk, formerly of Clearwater, was March 2 at Concordia Lutheran Church, with Pastor Ryan Janke officiating.

Burial was at Clearwater Cemetery. Visitation was Sunday at Snider Memorial Funeral Home, Clearwater. Elsie died Feb. 23, 2026, at The Meadows in Norfolk.

Elsie Anna Wolfe was born March 14, 1927, to Henry and Martha (Bloebaum) Lange at Ewing. She attended school at Page and graduated from Ewing High School. She married Glenn “Buster” Wolfe June 8, 1947, at Concordia Lutheran Church. They were blessed with eight children Dale, Gary, Sue, Janet, Mike, Mary, Diane and Cindy. She taught school, waitressed at L bar B and Imperial. She enjoyed reading, embroidery and word search. She especially enjoyed spending time with her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, ladies aide and auxiliary.

Survived by her children, Gary (Janet) Wolfe, Clearwater; Sue Hochstein, Hartington; Janet Allemang, Clearwater; Mike (Sheila) Wolfe, Norfolk; Mary (Terry) Makelin, Foster; Diane (Will) Price, Norfolk; Cindy (Allen) Spangler, Emmet; daughter-in-law, Carol Wolfe, Neligh; 115 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by parents; husband; son, Dale; and grandson, Patrick; sons-in-law, Jim Hochstein and Roy Price; three brothers, Walt and Charlene Lange, Roger Lange, and Henry Jr. (Betty) Lange.
