RANDOLPH — Funeral services for Debra S. “Deb” Wattier, 73, Norfolk, were Aug. 11, 2025, at the St. Frances de Chantai Catholic Church, Randolph. Deacon Doug Tunink officiated the service. Inurnment was Aug. 11 at the parish cemetery, rural Randolph. Visitation and a vigil service were Sunday at the church. Deb died Aug. 6, 2025, at the Faith Regional Hospital, Norfolk. Stonacek Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. Deb was bom Nov. 15,1951, in Norfolk, to LaVerle and Lois (Meyêr) Schnoor. She attended grade school in Sholes, and graduated from Randolph High School. After high school, Deb then attended beauty school. Deb married Lawrence L. “Larry” Wattier April 17,1971, at St. Jane Frances de Chantai Catholic Church, Randolph. After marriage, Deb and Lariy lived in Norfolk and then Lincoln. While living in Norfolk, Deb worked as a cosmetologist for over 30 years. After Lariy died in 2021, she moved to Norfolk.

Deb loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending their events. Deb enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, and her beloved dog, Oynx.

Survivors include her three daughters, Stacey (Jim) Scott, Randolph; Angie (Travis) Baumann, Norfolk; Carrie Tweedy (fiancé, Jason Hatch), Florida; nine grandchildren, Sydney Scott, Randolph; Noah Scott, (fiancée, Isabelle), Lincoln; Ella Scott, Randolph; Anden (Gavin) Williams, Omaha; Taelin and Atley Baumann, Norfolk; Madilyn, Makenna and Sam Tweedy, Florida; two great-grandchildren, Riley and Bodey Gall, Randolph; siblings, Joan (Dave) Baier, Wayne; Linda (Steve) Sehi, Norfolk; Jon (Jeanne) Schnoor, New Mexico; and Jim (Theresa) Schnoor, Randolph; brothers and sister-in-law, Tom (Elaine) Wattier, Laurel; Roger (Trudy) Wattier, Beatrice; Barb (Larry) Paulsen, Coleridge; and Liz Wattier, Osmond.

Deb was preceded in death by her husband, Lariy Wattier, May 8, 2021; parents, LaVerle and Lois Schnoor; father and mother-in-law, Leo and Loretta Wattier; brother-in-law, Allen Burbach; brother -in-law and sister-in-law, Jim and Marie Wattier, and Bob Wattier; and sister-in-law, Aijean Wattier.
