Connie Wolfgram

OMAHA — Connie Marie Wolfgram died June 27, 2025, in Omaha. She was born in Hartington, to Edgar and Viola Becker and grew up on the farm with her four siblings. She attended a one-room country school through the fourth grade and then moved to Cedar Catholic School in town. After high school graduation, Connie moved to Omaha, where she worked at Yellow Trucking Company as a teletype operator. Connie and Dave met at the ticket office of her family’s drive-in movie theater in Hartington in April 1963. After meeting, they danced at the Skylon Dance Hall in Hartington. They married Jan. 4, 1964. They raised their three daughters, Michelle, Kristi and Beth in Omaha, living in the same house on 100th Street since 1970. The neighborhood was filled with families that Connie, Dave and the girls spent endless hours with developing long-time friendships.

She was a devoted mom spending endless hours involved in her daughters’ activities, driving to dance class, sewing dance costumes, helping with homework, volunteering at St. Pius School, making meals, and maintaining the house. She was the #1 Mom volunteer and spectator. As the girls grew up, Connie also attended Metro Community College and UNO taking accounting classes. She and Dave were an unstoppable team building Wolfgram Accounting where she worked for over 45 years.

Family was always their top priority. The Wolfgram family spent countless hours at the lake or around the pool. Connie always made sure the snacks and meals were covered for the family and whatever friends were tagging along. Becoming a grandma was an extremely happy moment for Connie. She loved playing games with them or watching them swim in the pool or hang-out at the lake. The grandkids loved her cooking and baking , especially her homemade ice cream, and they requested it for every birthday celebration.

Connie was strong, determined, independent and a busy-body who rarely sat down. She loved Creighton Bluejay’s Basketball and found friendships with “the girls” doing all things Creighton from attending Creighton luncheons to traveling to tournament games for both the men’s and women’s teams.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Viola; and her brother, Bob Becker.

She is survived by her husband, Dave; siblings, Jolene Kathol, DelRae Schaeufele and Rollie Becker; children, Michelle (Todd) Ray, Kristi Wolfgram and Beth Wolfgram; and grandchildren, Leo, Collin (Katie), Charlie, Audrey, Cal and Aria.
