The Hartington 3-4 grade and 5-6 grade football teams played in their first games of the season Sunday afternoon at the Hartington Community Complex. The 3-4 grade team lost 33-6 to Homer, while the 5-6 grade team defeated Ponca 42-21. The teams compete each Sunday through the season.
