HARTINGTON - In a matchup between state-ranked opponents, Laurel-Concord-Coleridge and Cedar Catholic showed off an offensive spectacle.

Cedar's Matthew Becker had the game-high 31 points, and it was also a career-high for the senior. The effort was not enough for the win though, as LCC junior Noah Schutte scored 28 and senior Izac Reifenrath added 22 to combine for 50 points in the Bears 77-67 win over the Trojans

These two teams could potentially face off again in the postseason.

Laurel-Concord-Coleridge and Cedar Catholic are both in Subdistrict C2-7 along with two-time defending state champion Ponca and Crofton.
