Youth wrestlers finish season with strong showing

RANDOLPH – The Randolph Youth Wrestling Club wrapped up its season with some wrestlers competing at an elite state lev el over the weekend.

Here is a list of results to end the season:

March 17 NE USAW State tournament Eli Wortman, fifth place; Bentley Reimers, sixth place. Reid Junck, Jace Brodersen, Tate Brodersen and Kasyn Kyncl also competed.

March 9 Randolph’s home tournament Josie Korth, Reid Junck, Brexton Lewon, Jace Brodersen, Mason Beal, Eli Miller, Sadie Reimers, Bentley Reimers, Tate Brodersen, Ty Sievers and Andrew Junck, first place; Tate Albers, Lola Wortman, Lila Miller, Elijah Santos, Braxton Dorcey, Jackson Dockhorn, Lauren Miller, Karsyn English, Eli Wortman, Robby Dorcey, Adam Miller, Kody Dockhorn, Claire Sievers, Talyn Meyer and Boston Backhaus, second place; Colt Dockhorn, Wesley Gubbels, Eastyn Meyer, Delilah Henry, Cole Thelen, Jamison Sudbeck, Bryant English, Kaysen Henry, Athena Ackerman, Emmett Junck, Kasyn Kyncl, Kamdin Worlein, Emma Naslund and Colton Burbach, third place; Oliver Thelen, Maverick Reimers, Conner Mavis, Sawyer Schmidt, Briggs Kyncl, Carson Schulz and Charlie Junck, fourth place; Declan Worlein, fifth place.

The team overall finished in first place.

March 2 NE USAW District tournament, O’Neill

Eli Wortman, first place, state qualifier; Jace Brodersen, second place, state qualifier; Bentley Reimers and Tate Brodersen, third place, state qualifiers; Reid Junck and Kasyn Kyncl, fourth place, state qualifiers; Elijah Santos, Brexton Lewon, fifth place; Jackson Dockhorn and Mason Beal, sixth place.

Jamison Sudbeck, Briggs Kyncl, Robby Dorcey, Trey Tjaden, Talyn Meyer and Braxton Dorcey also competed.
