WSC Honor Choir

Area students attended the Wayne State College Honor Choir held Jan 30. Four girls were involved in the 2020 Women’s Choir directed by Cheri Helmer-Riensche an Alumni of WSC. The girls, Koricia Montemayor, Hope Hulit, Kerri Hoesing, and Kaitlyn Willis, sang Girls Garden, Baby’s Dance, and Climbin’ Up the Mountain, Children! The Mixed Choir included Soprano-Leah Reichle, Alto-Alison Karnes and Kalyn Martinson, Tenor- Zach Burcham, Bass-Logan Castillo and Matthew Meisenheimer. They sang Northfield, Stars Tonight, Dies Irae. All choirs performed the final selection, Africa arranged by Matthew and Shelly Armstrong. The mixed chorus and combined choir was conducted by Matthew Armstrong of WSC.
