BATTLE CREEK-Three Cedar Catholic wrestlers earned pins during Thursday night’s seasonopening triangular here.
As a team, Cedar lost both matches, falling to Battle Creek 64-18 and 52-12 to Quad County Northeast.
Cole Steffensen earned a firstperiod pin over Battle Creek’s Hunter Kreikemeier in their 138-pound match.
In the match against Quad County Northeast, Conner Hochstein earned a second-period pin over Trace Naeve.
Keegan Carl got the quick pin of the night, setting Asher Beed down in just :41.
