Work on new vo-ag building should get underway soon

HARTINGTON — Work on the new vo-ag building at Hartington-Newcastle School is expected to begin later this week.

Supt. A.J. Johnson told School Board members Monday that dirt work to prepare the site for construction is expected to begin late this week.

A house was cleared from the lot earlier this year to make room for the new structure.

Earlier this month, the School Board approved a bid of $1.230,052 to build a new 7,518 sq. foot vocational-agricultural building to replace the current building, which the school bought in 1967.
