Wind becomes factor in golf invitationals

RANDOLPH – Randolph’s golf season is in full swing with the team competing three times over the past week - twice at Laurel and then at Plainview.

Golfers fared well and the weather cooperated for the most part, said Coach Rob Engel.

The team had to compete against the wind during its round at the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Invitational Thursday but bounced back Saturday at Plainview under sunny skies.

For its season opener - a Tri against Creighton and LCC at the LCC course, it was all about getting that first experience off the fairway.

Here’s a roundup of results: LCC Tri, April 9
