William Charles Erwin

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — William Charles Erwin, 91, died Dec. 8, 2020.

Funeral services will be Dec. 17, at 11 a.m., at Blunt Mortuary, Colorado Springs.

Interment is at Fairview Cemetery, Colorado Springs.

William was born Feb. 27, 1929, in Concord, to Henry Erwin and Alberta (Luth). William married Marian Jo Curry June 22, 1951, in Ponca, at the Evangelical Free Church. He received his bachelor of arts from Morningside College in 1965, a bachelor of arts in Bible from Northwestern College in 1966, and master of arts from the University of South Dakota in 1970. He served as a principal/teacher for 25 years all over the world.

He was very skilled with his hands and built several homes during summer breaks from teaching.

He is survived by his five children, Douglas, Bradley, Terese, Janette and Pamela; extended family members Crispin Quijada and his daughter, Christina; brothers and sisters, Ardyce, Jim, Gary and Dale; six grandchildren, Brandon, DeAnna, Amber, Brody, Milo, and Rainer; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry; his mother, Alberta; his brother, Wylie, and his sisters Marcia and Barbara.
