Wildcats top the Bees

BLOOMFIELD — The Wildcats jumped out front early and stayed there for a 42-32 win over Bloomfield here Thursday.

The Cats used solid shooting and a good defensive effort to build a 13-5 first-quarter lead against the Bees. Defense dominated the second frame as the Cats outscored the Bees 7-6 to take a 20-11 lead into the break.

HNS came out strong in the second half putting together a 16-11 scoring run to take a 36- 22 lead into the final frame.
