Motorist drives away southbound on Highway 81, Nebraska State Patrol notified. Motorist drives at 120 mph eastbound toward Dixon County. Officer calls off pursuit and will pursue a warrant instead.

Sept. 7: Man reports loud barking from neighbor’s dog. Dispatcher can hear the dog through the phone even though the man is calling from inside his residence.

Rescue unit called to Coleridge residence for woman with medical issue, transported to Norfolk hospital.

Medical alert activated for Randolph subscriber. Randolph Rescue responds to residence and finds individual doesn’t even have her alarm delivered yet.

Dispatcher uses Google to translate caller who informs of a man who fled rape charges in California and is now residing in Hartington.

When dispatcher is able to call back, youth said, “It’s nothing. I was just blowing off steam.” Officer advises her not to call 911 to relieve stress, only call if it’s an emergency.

Man calls regarding a vehicle on the side of the road with an individual inside who said she had a medical issue and her vehicle struck a pole. Coleridge EMS paged and transport one to Wayne hospital.

Caller reports a two-vehicle collision near Highway 15 and 20 junction, no injuries but one vehicle on fire.
