Man reports a suspicious vehicle that pulled into his driveway and turn around.

May 28: 911 call transferred to Yankton.

Man calls again regarding the suspicious vehicle from the previous day. “I have not slept all night because I am worried about the four guys that were out at my place last night.” Man provides additional details about the vehicle. Man calls again about an hour later, stating it’s a conspiracy. “I think they are related to that child molester that was sent away for 80 years and now this is the next generation of them. I want to know their names and want to press charges against them for stalking me.”

Man reports striking a gas meter with his vehicle in Hartington, fire department and gas company notified.

Caller rambles about having Sheriff Koranda fired and then hangs up. About 40 minutes later calls back saying, “Why is Larry Koranda still the sheriff of Cedar County? He should have been fired a long time ago and Craig Bartels should be fired too. Everybody needs to be fired. You tell everyone they’re fired, OK?”

Caller reports a suspicious person on his property for the past five days who won’t leave. Officer speaks with man who was warned to leave and if he comes back he will be arrested.

Yankton transfers call reporting a fire around a light pole near Crofton, Crofton Fire called out but canceled enroute as flames were extinguished. Cedar Knox Public Power notified.
