Laurel — Violet M. Roland, 84, Laurel, died Oct. 2, 2019, at her home. She endured a long battle with diabetes.
Private graveside services were held Oct.11.
Violet was born to Charles and Tacy (Barber) Berner Aug. 17, 1935. She was the mother of Connie (Paul) Sherman, Deb Patras, Sandy Macke and Randy Roland; and the grandmother to nine grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She is survived by one brother and two sisters.
Violet joins her parents; her son, baby, Wayne Roland Jr.; two son-in-laws, two sisters, three brothers and one great-granddaughter.
