Trunk or Treat

Ada Smith takes in one of the games at Trunk or Treat. Mother Nature didn’t provide any tricks for the treaters on Saturday, as it was a near perfect day for the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Parent-Teacher Organization to hold its annual Trunk or Treat Event at Haskell Field. Eighteen groups participated in the event. A parade of kids in costumes was held first as they made their way around hay bales and pumpkins on the track. Following that, the kids headed out to each of the trunks to get some treats. All those attending were encouraged to vote for their favorite trunk. The winners were: Best Beach Theme, David, Diana, Reuben, Andre, and Naomi Badley; Best Sports Theme, Tasler Family; Best Haunted Harvest Theme, Karen Hartington; People’s Choice Award, Alex, Brooke, Lola, Henry, Finn, and Huxley McKamy.
