Trio of Trojans earn All Conference honors

HARTINGTON - Three Cedar Catholic boys basketball players were recognized last week when the Mid-State Conference released All-Conference Honors.

Matthew Becker topped the list of the All-Conference First Team.

The Trojan senior garnered the most votes for the team. He was joined on the elite team by Boone Central/Newman Grove’s Carter Henry, Norfolk Catholic’s Ethan Piper, Wayne’s Tyrus Eischeid, and O’Neill’s Francisco Perez. All but Eischeid are seniors.

Cedar sophomore Myles Thoene rounded out the All-Conference Second Team. He was the only sophomore chosen alongside four juniors.
