Sudbeck leads Cedar golfers in season opener
O’NEILL – The 2020 fall sports season got underway Thursday when the Cedar Catholic girls golf team took part in the O’Neill Golf Invitational.
Cedar was not able to field a full team, and thus finished 10th in the 10-team field.
Boone Central earned the team title, firing a 403. The Lady Cardinals were led by individual champion Abby Brodersen, who carded a 77.
Delayne Sudbeck led the Cedar team with a 103 to finish in sixth place.
Other Cedar golfers were: Jenna Wiebelhaus, 19th with a 118, and Bailey Wuebben, 37th with a 141.
The Cedar golf team will be in action again Friday at Wayne
