YANKTON, S.D. — Sherilyn Sue Kimm, 69, Yankton, S.D., died suddenly Oct. 16, 2021, at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital, Yankton, S.D.

Funeral services will be Oct. 20, at 10:30 a.m., at the Wintz Funeral Home, Crofton, with the Rev. Terry Buol and Rev. David Liewer officiating.

Burial will be at the Graceland Cemetery, Mitchell, S.D.

Visitation will be Wednesday morning, from 9 a.m. until service time, at the Wintz Funeral Home, Crofton.

Services will also be live streamed at www.facebook.com/WintzRay/live.

Pallbearers will be Cathy Krall, Jamie Krall, Nicholas Krall, Heather Dahl and Denny Korbel.

Sherilyn Sue was born March 5, 1952, in Mitchell, to Edward and Alma (Petula) Stuntebeck. She was raised in Kimball, S.D., and graduated from Kimball High School and then graduated from Springfield College. Sheri was employed at Century of Service, Yankton, as a secretary, and at M-Electronics doing assembly line work. Her last employment was for Williams and Company accounting firm as a secretary/receptionist, retiring just a few years ago.

Sheri enjoyed bird watching and taking care of her flowers, traveling, and in her younger years did mapping and rug hooking.

She is survived by her husband Rev. Gary Kimm, Yankton, S.D.; two step-daughters, Cathy (Jamie) Krall and their children, Madison and Nicholas, Mitchell, S.D.; Heather (Dave) Dahl and their children, Kailey, Jack and Sam, St. George, Utah; cousin, Dennis Korbal; and friend, Nancy, Yankton, S.D.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Alma Stuntebeck.
