BEEMER — Funeral services for Sandy Hawk, 54, Beemer, were Jan. 7 at the Minnick Funeral Home, West Point.

Interment was in the Wisner Cem etery.

Visitation was Friday and continued Saturday until the time of the service all at the Minnick Funeral Home, West Point.

Sandy died Jan. 4, 2023, at Faith Regional Health Services, Norfolk.

Sandra Kay Hawk was born Jan. 6, 1968, in San Bernadino, Calif., to Gary and Mary Kay (Olson) Fetsch. She graduated from Hartington High School in 1986. Sandy went on to attend the College of Hair and Design, Lincoln. She operated a beauty salon in Laurel and worked at salons in W ayne and Beemer. Sandy managed the Pizza Hut in Wisner for 14 years, managed the Cobblestone Inn in W ayne, worked at Pronto in Beemer and later in the Wisner-Pilger School Cafeteria, and was curren tly the assistant manager of Horizon Inn and Suites, W est Point.

Sandy married Randy Hawk Aug. 9, 1997, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Hartington.

Sandy was a lifetime member of the V FW Auxiliary. She loved spending time with family and friends, watching her beloved Minnesot a Vikings and Nebraska Cornhuskers. Sandy enjoyed gardening and ten ding to her flowers. She cherished meeting new people and fostering those relationships.

Survivors include her husband, Randy Hawk, Beemer; daughter, Rylee Hawk, Lincoln, son, Cole Hawk, Beemer; mother, Mark Kay Fetsch, Omaha; sister, Dawn Fetsch, Omaha; brother, Michael Fetsch, Omaha; several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

Sandy was preceded in death by her father, Gary Fetsch, and a sister, Cindy Fetsch.
