WAUSA — Ronnie L. Beaudette, 80, Wausa, died May 4, 2018, at his son’s residence in Norfolk. Visitation wasTuesday, at Stonacek Funeral Chapel, Norfolk. Funeral servics will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 9, at the Stonacek Funeral Chapel, Norfolk, with Rev. Becky Beckman officiating. Interment will be held at the Magnet City Cemetery, Magnet. Casketbearers will be Kaden Koerperich, Bobby Rolfes, John Rolfes, Zane St John and Jarin Jensen and Kyle Raney. Stonacek Funeral Chapel, Norfolk, is in charge of the arrangements. Born June 14, 1937, in rural McLean, Ronnie L. Beaudette was the son of Lee and Velma (Ellsberry) Beaudette. Ronnie grew up in Magnet and Wausa area. Upon graduating from high school in 1956, he went into the military and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956-1960. He then married the love of his life, Patricia Luke, Oct. 22, 1960, in Sacramento, Calif. Ronnie worked for the Civil Service in California until 1973. They then moved to the Wausa area, and Ronnie started working for Nucor Steel until retirement in 1990. After retirement, Ronnie worked various jobs and worked for Michaels Foods for 15 years. He enjoyed treasure hunting, gun collecting and also flying airplanes. Ronnie loved spending time with his family, as well as being on the farm. He was a member of the Magnet Christian Church, Magnet. Survivors include his children, Ronnie Michael (Judy) Beaudette, Magnet; Christian (Debbie) Beaudette, Norfolk; Cindy (Ken) Koerperich, Lincoln; Tammy (Michell) Gullicksen, Wausa; Jennifer Petersen, Omaha; Brian (Tilly) Beaudette, Omaha; and Mark (Barbara) Beaudette, Lincoln; 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-greatgrandchild; and a brother, Elwin (Beverly) Beaudette, Plainview. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Velma; his spouse, Patricia, who died in 2007; and his siblings, John, Corva, Lee, Vonnie and Delwin.
