Robert A. “Bob” Kramer

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — Robert A. “Bob” Kramer, Minneapolis, Minn., formerly of Hastings, died March 20, 2018, in Minneapolis, Minn., after battling a lengthy illness. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m., April 21, at St. Olaf Catholic Church, Minneapolis, Minn. There will be visitation one hour prior to service at the church. Memorials may be directed to Hastings Catholic Schools. Washburn-McReavy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Bob was born in Cedar County, to Ivan and Lavina (Suing) Kramer May 30, 1939. He later moved to Hastings. Bob attended and graduated from St. Cecilia Catholic School. He continued his education at Hastings College, earning a degree in business/economics and was a member of the Hastings National Guards. Bob worked in Hastings before accepting a job in corporate banking and moving to Minneapolis where he met his wife, Pat Albert. They were married July 6, 1968. Bob graciously shared his time and talents by volunteering with numerous organizations. Bob is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Julius and Mary Kramer, and Joseph and Josephine Suing; and his mother and father-in-law. Survivors include his wife, Pat; siblings, Ken, Carol, Bonnie, Glen, Mitch, Gale, Clair and Mary Lynn; and 14 nieces and nephews.
