Ralph Anthony Schwartz

AURORA, Colo. — Ralph Anthony Schwartz, 81, died Dec. 25, 2021, Christmas Day.

Funeral services were at St. Michael’s of the Archangel Catholic Church, Aurora, Colo., Jan. 6.

Burial services were held Jan. 7 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Wheat Ridge, Colo.

Ralph was born Jan. 4, 1940 in Hartington, to Matt and Josephine Schwartz. After graduating from Cedar Catholic, Ralph graduated from Regis College, Denver, Colo., with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He was promoted to partner for Deloitte & Touché Ross for 16 years and later owned and operated his own consulting business until his retirement.

Ralph was a loving and devoted Catholic and family man. He met and married his wife, Nancy, and they were happily married for 51 years and had six children.

He enjoyed many outdoor activities with his children and grandchildren, including fishing, hunting and skiing. He was an avid golfer, accomplished gardener and loved playing cards.

Ralph is survived by his six children, Edward, Mark ( Edith) Boyd, Jeff (Dina), Brenda ( Dan ) and Todd; 14 grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren; siblings, Joan (Gerald) Hochstein, Hartington; Ann (Neil) Becker, Omaha; Gene Schwartz, Holdrege; Don (Sharon) Schwartz, Sioux Falls, S.D.; Alice (Pete) McGarrahan, Aurora, Colo.; Mike (Cathy) Duluth, Minn.; and Sue (Brian)McDermott, Minneapolis, Minn.
