Orville Leonard Dietze

Waverly — Orville Leonard Dietze, 78, Waverly, died Dec. 30, 2019.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be Jan. 8, from 4:30 – 7 p.m., at Roper and Sons Waverly Chapel.

Orville was born Sept. 15, 1941, in Gretna, to LaVern and Grace (Lamprecht) Dietze. He is a U.S. Army veteran, a retired farmer and a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Waverly.

Family members include his sons, James (Jennifer) Dietze and Mark Dietze; daughters, Kim (Ben) Lipovsky and Lisa (Bobby) Ortolano; grandchildren Gwendolyn, Madelyn, Libbi, Phoebe, Nathan, Ben,

Olivia, Robert, Garrett, Erica, Collin and John; sisters, Janice (Joe) Miller, Ralston, and Beverly Dietze, Omaha; and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Ardith.
