NSAA shuts down activities through the end of March

LINCOLN — While many area students are still in school at this writing, they won't be staying after class to take part in any extra curricular activities.

The NSAA announced Monday that all practices and competitions are being suspended.

"Effective Monday, March 16 all NSAA activity practices are suspended until Monday, March 30 and all NSAA activity competitions are suspended until Thursday, April 2.  These suspensions may be extended should the conditions warrant," NSAA Executive Director Jay Bellar said through a press release.

Bellar said all member schools and student-participants are expected to adhere to the NSAA Constitution & Bylaws and activity manuals during this time.
