Noecker turns in personal best

TYNDALL, S.D. — Carson Noecker earned more hardware last week, winning at both the Crofton Invitational and at the Bon Homme Invitational.

Noecker’s win in Crofton turned out to be the best time he’s ever recorded, finishing the race in 15:32.

He also won at Bon Homme helping his team walk away with the title in the 10-team field in the S.D. meet. Wagner, S.D. finished second, nine points behind HNS.

Others finishing at the Bon-Homme meet were: 4. Parker Albers, 19:45; 11. Riley Kuehn, 20:37; 22. Alan Santiago, 37. Lukas Wortmann.

The local girls were led by Sara Burbach who finished 11th with a 24:38. Finishing right behind her was teammate Jessica Opfer in 12th with a 24:47, while Makenzie Arens finished in 20th.
