Nile R. Larson

RANDOLPH — Graveside Services for Nile R. Larson, 92, Randolph, will be 10 a.m., Sept. 27, at the Randolph City Cemetery.

Dick Bloomquist, Parish Minister Associate, will officiate. Home for Funerals, Randolph, is in charge of arrangements. Nile died Sept. 16, 2022, at the Colonial Manor, Randolph. Nile Reed was born July 9, 1930, in Pierce, to Lawrence Victor and Marian Gladys (Nelson) Larson. He was baptized at the Lutheran Parsonage and attended the Lutheran school in Pierce. Nile was joined by a brother, Arland Jay, and a sister, Sharon Devon, some years later. Nile lived at home most of his life and helped his family farm in areas around Belden and Randolph for many years. Upon the death of his father, Lawrence, in June 1967, Nile and his mother moved to Coleridge, where he resided until moving to the Colonial Manor, Randolph in 2002.

Nile is survived by his brother, Arland Jay (Carol) Larson; nephew, Bruce (Susan) Strathman; niece, Sandra Reed; nephew, Larry Larson; niece, Linda Hoopes; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister.
