MARJORIE GERTRUDE BORGHEIINCK

FULLERTON—Marjorie Gertrude Borgheiinck, 95, Fullerton, died Nov. 28, 2017, at Fullerton Care Center and Rehabilitation, Fullerton. Visitation and scripture service were Nov. 30, at St. Peter Catholic Church, Fullerton. Mass of Christian Burial was Dec.1 at St. Peter Catholic Church, Fullerton, with Rev. David Fulton officiating. Burial followed at St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, Fullerton. Palmer-Santin Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Marjorie was born May 29, 1922, to Fred and Regina (Schmidt) Becker at St. Helena. She grew up and was educated there in her early years. She worked as a waitress and nanny. She married Alfred Borgheiinck June 9, 1947, in Yankton, S.D. They moved to Fullerton in 1955. She spent her lifetime as a housewife. Alfred died Sept. 16, 2009. In 2015, Marjorie moved to Fullerton Rehabilitation and Care Center. Marjorie loved sewing, gardening, canning, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Survivors include her children, Robert (Karen) Borgheiinck, Grand Island; Janet (Rod) Reckard, Sheridan, Wyo.; Joann (Howard) Vasser, Clarks; Jim (Vickie) Borgheiinck and Ronnie (Rose) Borgheiinck, both of Fullerton; Richard (Arlene) Borgheiinck, Newman Grove; Gene (Ann) Borgheiinck, Fullerton; and Diane Johnson, Casper, Wyo.; 27 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Bonnie Logue, Aurora. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Patricia; son, David; sister, Betty Sayler; five brothers, Vernon, Lawrence, Ralph, Irwin and Marlin Becker; son-in-law, Mike Johnson; and grandson, Phillip Michael Johnson.
