HARTINGTON — A.J. Johnson has become a very popular man at the Hartington Golf Course.

Johnson has been a witness to three hole-in-one shots at the golf course this year. All three took place on the ninth hole at the local course.

All kinds of folks are now asking him to play golf with them.

Mike Johnson became the latest man to join the holein-one club, acing the ninth hole last week as long-time friend and current boss, A.J. Johnson, looked on.

Mike Johnson has many golfing accomplishments to his name.

He has earned the City Golf Title three times. He also guided the Cedar Catholic golf team to 13 straight state golf tournaments and a 2009 state championship.

A.J. Johnson has now witnessed Brett Klug, Ken Kneifl and Mike Johnson earn Hartington Golf Course immortality. He also witnessed a friend earn an ace at an Omaha golf course last week.
