Rosemary was born April 13, 1929, on the family farm in Menominee, to Anton and Mary (Schaefer) Hoebelheinrich. Growing up, she helped out with farm chores, which included milking cows, picking corn by hand, making hay bales, and cooking for the farmhands. Rosemary married Elred Lange April 19, 1954, in Menominee. Together, they raised seven children.

Rosemary enjoyed bowling, gardening, canning, playing bingo, and playing cards with her card club. She embraced her faith, her family and her community and spent her life nurturing and supporting each one. She welcomed each person who married into the family as another son or daughter. She treasured the arrival of each precious grandchild and great-grandchild and surrounded them with love.

She embraced her cancer diagnosis with strength and courage, setting her sights on celebrating her 90th birthday and welcoming twin great-grandsons. She accomplished those milestones and then, when she realized her work was done she welcomed the Lord’s embrace.

Rosemary was a member of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Crofton. For many years, she kept a Wednesday night vigil at the church. Rosemary was a member of the Christian Mothers and was recently recognized for being a 50-year member of the Catholic Daughters. She was also part of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Postal Service Auxiliary, the Women’s Club, and served as both president and vice president of the senior center in Crofton for many years.

Rosemary is survived by her children, Dale (Vonda) Lange, Crofton; Debra Meyer, Crofton; Warren (Ann) Lange, Bloomfield; Jonathan (Cindy) Lange, Yankton, S.D.; Todd (Lonna) Lange, Yankton, S.D.; Rhonda (Jared) Rang, Lincoln; daughter-in-law, Barbara Lange, Crofton; sister, Denelda Janus; sisters-in-law, Johanna Hoebelheinrich, Mary Lange, Anne Lange, Arlyce Willson and Severa Pflanz; brotherin-law, Mark Schmidt; 18 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, eight step grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
