Local couple makes the rounds in Hollywood to promote new show

HARTINGTON — Hartington residents Dr. Ben and Dr. Erin Schroeder recently spent four days in California doing interviews and TV segments to promote their new TV show.

The new Hartington-based nationally syndicated TV show “Heartland Docs, DVM,” will begin its first season later this week on the NatGeo Wild TV channel.

The couple spent time doing interviews for the Hallmark Channel’s Home and Family show, as well as for Access Hollywood. Both segments were then broadcast last week.

The two-minute segments featured several animals to help set the mood and conversation about the couple and their new show. They visited with Access Hollywood hosts Mario Lopez and Kit Hoover about everything from why they enjoy their work to how they met.
