League of Heroes kick off new season with new uniforms

HARTINGTON — The 2019 Youth Wrestling season kicked off Jan. 6.  

There are 55 youth participating in the League of Heroes Program from preschool to 6th grade.

This year the Little Heroes got new singlets and were able to showcase them at the Yankton Jr. Bucks Wrestling tournament in Yankton.  This meet had 377 wrestlers from four different states.  There were between 20-25 teams competing for the team trophy.  

Hartington had 20 wrestlers compete in this tournament including five wrestlers who were competing for the first time.
