Lange, Jueden ink names in HNS record books

HARTINGTON - Basketball season has started, but a few volleyball records at Hartington-Newcastle still need to be recognized from this Fall.

During the conference semifinal match against Ponca, the Lady Wildcats had to put on a record-setting performance for the win. 

Liby Lange’s 56 set assists set a school record for set assists in a match. Lange had a special connection in that match with sophomore Kayden Jueden who tied the school record for kills in a match, with 30.

Jueden tied Michaela Dendinger’s record.

Lange just finished her senior season and will graduate in May, while Jueden still has two years left as a Wildcat.
