WYNOT — The Hartington-Newcastle Lady Wildcats picked up the Consolation Trophy here Thursday with a 25-18, 25-13 win over Bloomfield.
The HNS girls are now 2-4 on the year.
Kayden Jueden led the HNS girls at the net in this one, slamming home 10 kills. Abbe Morten aided the cause with five kills.
Abbe Morten was on fire from the service line, lining six ace serves across the net. Morten had a solid all-around game as she also led the team in digs with seven and ended up dishing out one set assist in the contest.
The Lady Cats hit the road to Wausa Tuesday for Lewis and Clark Conference action with the Lady Vikings.
