Posted in:

HARTINGTON - After an exhausting overtime battle with Pierce Friday, the Cedar Catholic girls hosted Lutheran High Northeast Saturday, and found themselves in another tough battle. A rough fourth quarter gave the Lady Eagles a 47-39 win. For the second night in a row, the Lady Trojans had a slow start to open the game.

Cedar’s offense went four minutes without putting points on the board, and the girls were down 8-2 halfway through the first quarter. A buzzer beater by Kortni Kaski of LHNE gave the Lady Eagles a 15-6 lead at the end of the first quarter.
